Bali is not where I was born, but after my mother's passing in 2012, Bali presented a different energy that called me to "come home" to this land.

Land of Longing is a visual reflection of my longing to reconnect with the environment where I live in a small village in Payangan, Bali. The anxiety over the question "Where will we live next year?" that arises at the end of the year gives me a feeling of pressure about a future that I cannot see and control. However, reflecting on this pressure leads me to question: have I truly appreciated the environment where I live today? instead of focusing on the uncertain tomorrow.
