An Ordinary Story of A Mother's Diary
2022 - ongoing
Through this mixed-media work, I explore the concept of nurture as a practice ingrained in my bodily memory: automatic gestures, familiar scents, and traces that persist even in what is considered "waste." I live alongside acts of caregiving. Quietly, I celebrate my ability to nurture as an expression of love, yet I also question and acknowledge how it can become a generational burden, especially for women.
In practice, I combine organic kitchen waste with photographs of my daily domestic life, creating layered narratives that connect the ephemeral and the eternal, the discarded and the cherished.
